The final of the AVC MEN’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE JAPAN 2025 was held at Shimadzu Arena (Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), where OSAKA BLUTEON (hereinafter referred to as Blteon) faced Al-Rayyan (Qatar).

[Set 1]
In the early stages, the team struggled against the opponent's blocks and powerful serves, falling behind 2-6 and forcing a timeout.
After breaking the streak of lost points, they fought back with tenacity, scoring consecutive points through Ebadipour's quick attack and Nishida's disruptive serves to narrow the gap to 6-8.
However, as coordination issues led to the gap widening again, Otsuka replaced Lopez to stabilize the team.
Although Blteon attacked aggressively with spikes from Tomita and Nishida, the gap continued to widen, leading to a double substitution of Nakamura and Nishiyama.
Despite a late rally sparked by Tomita's serves, they dropped the first set 19-25.

[Set 2]
At 0-1, setter Eiro was injured during play and replaced by Nakamura, leading to a difficult start as they fell behind 0-3.
Nakamura distributed sets carefully to score, and as they gradually found their rhythm, they kept the score tied with blocks from Lopez and quicks from Yamauchi.
Later, a block by Tomita gave them the lead in a seesaw battle, and with blocks and defense functioning well, they took a 12-10 lead following a spike from Tomita and a block from Ebadipour.
However, they were disrupted by serves in the middle of the set, conceding consecutive points to fall behind 14-16 and once again finding themselves chasing the score.
In the final stages, they were unable to stop the opponent's fierce attacks, conceding consecutive points to face a difficult 18-21 situation; although they closed the gap to two points with a block by Tomita and pressured the opponent with tenacious defense, they lost the set 22-25.

[Set 3]
Nakamura started the set, and Nishikawa replaced Yamauchi.
Unable to find a rhythm from the start, they fell behind 0-4, leading to Otsuka replacing Lopez.
Despite a difficult situation caused by being disrupted by serves, they connected point by point to search for opportunities.
Nishikawa created highlights, such as scoring consecutive points with his change-of-pace serves, and the team kept errors to a minimum while their offense, centered on Ebadipour's quicks, functioned well.
Furthermore, they gradually closed the gap with spikes and serves from Otsuka, narrowing it to 13-15 with a block by Nishikawa.
From the middle of the set onwards, they continued to develop their offense while enduring the opponent's fierce attacks, but they were unable to stop the opponent's momentum until the end, losing the set 17-25 and the match in straight sets.

As a result, we finished as runners-up in the AVC MEN’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE JAPAN 2025 and secured a spot in the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.
